As part of providing Logistics solutions across Sectors as a one-stop-logistics-solution provider, we have given on Charter our Flat Top Deck Cargo Barge “GLOBO 1801” to one of India’s leading Infra Companies. The Barge mounted with a 300T capacity Crawler Crane, Demag CC 1800 will be used to construct Breakwater at a forthcoming Port in West Coast of India. The Breakwater measuring 4500 meters is the longest in India and one of the longest in Asia.
To hold the Barge steady during lifting mid sea and for safe Crane operations, we installed a 4 Point Mooring system with 4 nos. AC 14 High Holding anchors weighing 2000 kgs each on the Barge. The winches are operated by 2 nos. 62.5 KVA DG Gensets which have also been fitted on board as part of the Mooring system. The Mooring system was installed after carrying out a Mooring analysis of the Barge considering the site environmental conditions.
We provided a detailed Stability Analysis with Hydrodynamic Analysis of the Barge with the Crane mounted on the aft of the Barge to the client. This Report consisted of stability assessment of the vessel in probable loading conditions and checked in compliance the necessary stability requirements. We also provided strength analysis check of the Barge with the Crane mounted on the aft to the client.
We were also involved in the Roll on of the massive Crane on the Barge after obtaining all necessary permissions from statutory authorities. All logistics and agency related activities related to the movement of the Barge to the loading Jetty, and subsequent mounting of the assembled Crane on the Barge was done by GloboTransPRO, including lashing and seafastening of the Crane with the Barge. We also towed the loaded Barge to the site and delivered it safely to the Client, as per their schedule.
This is in line with our endeavour and vision of providing complete logistics solutions to our clients and not just bare equipment.
