The Rig, measuring a mammoth 235 feet in length, 200 feet in width with a depth of nearly 27 feet and a displacement of almost 19,000MT needed to be towed by 2 Tugs with the lead Tug having a Bollard Pull of atleast 120MT.

Finding suitable and cost efficient storage area close to Mumbai Port for safely storing the 2 Massive offshore Platform Rigs for a more than 10 month period, till their re- export from India.

Our client, who is a leading EPC in Oil & Gas Sector in India, is executing a Project that involves development of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (ONGC)’s Cluster 8 Marginal fields for production of well fluid in the BH-DCS block of Mumbai offshore Basin to the south-west of Mumbai High field.

Boskalis and Jan De Nul Joint Venture (JV) Company had imported Dredging Equipment to India. After the equipment was imported, they had procured several local assets to be installed along with the Dredging Equipment on the barge under the Indian Flag towed by an Indian Tug. After the successful completion of the project, Boskalis got another project in India which required urgent mobilisation of the dredging equipment.

GloboTransPRO was the Logistic Service Provider for Custom Clearance, Storage and Transportation for Hazardous Chemicals – Hydro Sulphide (H2S) from Mundra Sea Port to Barmer for Cairn India site to carry out their petroleum operations on their Block RJ-ON–90/1.
The project involved custom clearance of 20 foot ISO Tanks, transporting them on HSE compliant Trailers to the storage yard of Mundra Port..

GloboTransPRO has been providing services for Aban Offshore Limited’s Drill Ship Aban ICE, Jack Up Rig Aban III, and Jack Up Rig Aban IV. Logistics and Agency Support to Rig during lay up for Repair and Maintenance has demanding requirement from the Shipyard and Rig Contractors to ensure Rig is ready before time for next Contract.

Unloading, Installation and Commissioning of Hydraulic Press Lines (4×630 T & 1×1300 T) at MG Motors’s Halol, Gujarat Plant. Unload 288 packages including 7 Heavy Lifts consisting of 5 Crowns, 1 Bed and 1 Slide from 102 trailers. The heaviest package to be Unloaded was the 170 MT Crown. Complete the Installation of Heavy Press Parts as per our Client’s very aggressive time lines. Adhere to the Protocols and stringent Safety & Quality Standards set by the client.

Rig lay up for repairs and maintenance is a very crucial operation and is time bound. It requires several co-ordination with numerous agencies in advance. Just-in-time requirement becomes frequent during repair and maintenance which keeps the Operation Team on its toe to deliver any requirement from Rig 24 x 7.

Getting appropriate anchorage for safe Lay up of Rig from Port is a daunting task considering limited anchorage availability and depth of water.

We had to dismantle and Transport the 9 Trucks – Komatsu 830E – the world’s 3rd largest Mining truck from Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL)’s Agucha Mines near Bhilwara, Rajasthan to Mundra Port, Gujarat. Each Truck measured 14.15 M (L) x 7.29 M (W) x 6.88 M (H) and weighed 220 Tons. The Payload (Carrying Capacity) of this mammoth Truck is a staggering 244 Tons.

Bitumen required for road projects is largely imported into India mainly in Drums in a solid state. The other means of import is through specially built Ship tankers carrying bitumen in a liquid form. Liquid Bitumen is unloaded at destination port through pipelines connected to tank farms within the Port area. Not all Ports has such facility. The advantage of receiving Bitumen in liquid form is that it saves time and cost of re-heating the product at the designated construction site.

GloboTransPRO had taken Special permission from NSICT Terminal (JNPT Port) for Direct Port Delivery (DPD) and direct discharge of the flat rack containers containing the boat and the cradle onto the trailer under the ships hook.After procuring various port permission for internal movement, heavy duty trailer were commissioned for transport of the Boat to the Port Terminal.

To receive 51 Over-Dimensional Modules from Ships’ Hook at Mumbai Port and Transport the Modules to Owens Corning’s factory at Taloja, Raigad. Each Module measured 12 M x 5 M x 5 M and weighed up to 35 MT.

Weight of the 51 Modules was more than 1000 MT.
