Supply of a 150MT Crawler Crane for supporting Pipe laying operations at Mumbai Offshore Basin for ONGC’s C8MFP Project

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (ONGC) is taking up additional development of its fields for production of well fluid and integrate it with existing field network. Cluster-8 marginal field as part of Mumbai High Asset is located in the BH-DCS block of Mumbai offshore Basin to the south-west of Mumbai High field. The Development Scheme envisages installation of three (03 Nos.) Well head platforms, one (01 No.) bridge connected well head cum riser platform and associated infield submarine pipelines.

Our client, who is a leading EPC in Oil & Gas Sector in India, is executing this entire Project that includes laying pipes using their pipe laying Barge, besides other activities. For this operation, they needed a supporting 150MT SWL Lattice Boom Crawler Crane with essential accessories, spares, counter weights and tools & tackles on their Pipelay Barge to work at offshore.

As part of our endeavour to provide entire chain of Logistics solutions to our Clients, we supplied a 150MT Crawler Crane with 150 feet boom, capable of lifting 20MT at the desired radius, as required by the Client. The Crane complies with the strict Oil & Gas standards and will play a critical role in this pipe laying Project.

As part of our contract, we mobilized the Crane in a dismantled state to Mumbai Port where it was unloaded on a Barge. We supervised the assembly of the Crane on the Barge, as per Client’s requirements and the Crane was made ready, as per Client’s schedule. We hope that this Crane helps our Client achieve their highly aggressive targets fo this season.
