Supply of our 180 Class Flat Top Deck Cargo Barge for Sea Transportation of 2 Nos. Pressure Vessels for a Fertilizer plant in Central India

Our 180 Class Deck Cargo Barge “GLOBO-1801” was used recently for the Sea Transportation of 2 Nos. Pressure Vessels for Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited’s Fertilizer plant at Sindri, Dhanbad, Jharkhand. The Pressure Vessels measuring 17.73 m(L) X 6.1 m(W) & 6.63 m(H) and weighing 70.13 MT each were Rolled onto our Barge at supplier Godrej & Boyce’s Vikhroli, Mumbai Jetty.

The Barge was then towed to Mumbai Port where the 2 nos.  Pressure vessels were loaded on “MV Mick “using the Ship’s own derrick cranes for onward sea transport to Kolkata Port from where the vessels will be transported to the site.

With a clear deck space of 54 m x 15 m and a deck capacity of 10 T/sq.m, “GLOBO 1801” is well suited for such Heavy Lift Roll ons and sea transports. This barge is an important element in our vision of providing endless factory to foundation solution to our Clients.
